"Khadi Mahotsav" was organized by the "Khadi and Village Industries Commission," which falls under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. 

It was held on October 31st, 2023, in association with the ACIC IIT (ISM) Foundation. The event aimed to promote products made by local artisans, including Khadi and Village Industries, Handloom and handicrafts, ODOP products, and products of various traditional and cottage industries.

The primary objective of the Khadi Mahotsav was to further promote the idea of the "Vocal for Local" campaign and "Atma-Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan" envisioned by the Hon'ble Prime Minister.

The event was graced by the presence of Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, Hon'ble Member/Chairman, East Zone, KVIC Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, and Prof. J.K. Pattanayak, Director IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, who were the Chief Guests of the program.
