The 45th Convocation of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad was a historic moment for us at ACIC IIT (ISM) Foundation. Our startups had the privilege of exhibiting their innovations before the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu.
Our entrepreneurs presented traditional handicrafts and sustainable products rooted in India’s rich cultural heritage — from Sohrai and Dhokra art forms to bamboo crafts and jute-based innovations to natural, eco-friendly solutions designed to empower rural communities.
This interaction not only highlighted the fusion of tradition with innovation, but also reinforced our mission to create inclusive and scalable entrepreneurship models that uplift Artisans, generate livelihoods, and contribute to Atmanirbhar Bharat.
